When processing a Qualifying Event that is triggered by a dependent change, don’t forget to begin with the Dependent Information icon to either add or change the status of the dependent. But don’t stop there, or this employee will end up on your IMNS Dashboard. You must then update the employee’s benefits under the Benefit Plan Information icon using the corresponding Qualifying Event Code.
