As you’ve likely noticed, we’ve made some updates during the April 2023 release to add more color to THEbenefitsHUB. While we think they’re a fun change, our purpose behind the change was to also support our initiatives to continue making our system more accessible for all users. This set of changes marks the start for us, and we’ll keep you apprised of any changes before they arrive.
For this release, these are the following updates that were made:
Appearance
- Font
We made two sets of changes to increase contrast and readability. The first was increasing the size of the text on the menu options. The second set of changes was darkening the text on the navigation bars and menu options.
- Colors
The menu icons were updated to be easier to differentiate and all colors were passed through color contrast checkers as well as color blind filters to ensure that all users can navigate the system seamlessly.
- Menu Changes
In addition to the colors listed above, we’ve made some additional changes to the menu options. There are now directional icons that appear within the menu options to indicate that there is extra content options that exist within the sub-menus.
Other Updates
- CHUBB EOI Integration
We’ve added CHUBB as one of our integration partners to support completion of their underwriting forms electronically.
- Email Broadcast Changes
We’ve added HTML abilities to the Email Broadcast within THEbenefitsHUB to increase the amount of customization available to our users.
- Bug Fixes
