Dependent Information
Introduction
After completing their Personal Information, employees will be prompted to add their spouse, domestic partner, and/or any children they may have as dependents. These dependents should be added on this page, even if the employee does not intend to add them to their benefits.
Note that if the employee does not have any dependents, they can click the Save & Continue button to move on to the next section of their enrollment.
Dependent Information – Main Page
The image below shows the main Dependent Information page. You can click each of the hotspot icons on the image (
) to learn more about adding dependents to the employee’s record.
You can also use the button in the top right corner of the image to open it in fullscreen. Press the Escape key on your keyboard to exit fullscreen.
Adding a Spouse or Domestic Partner
If the employee selected ‘Married/Domestic Partner’ as their marital status on their Personal Information page, they can click the ‘Add a Spouse or Domestic Partner’ link. This will take them to the Spouse/Domestic Partner Dependent Information page.
Once the information has been completed on this page, clicking the Save button will return the employee to the main Dependent Information page.

Adding Child Dependents
If an employee has any children who are their dependents, they should be added using the Add a Child link. This will take them to the Child Dependent Information page.
Once the information has been completed on this page, clicking the Save button will return the employee to the main Dependent Information page.

Pro-Tip
Since THEbenefitsHUB is available 24/7, if an employee does not know their spouse and/or children's Social Security Numbers, they can continue with the benefits enrollment process without entering them and add them in later.
The main Dependent Information page will show a reminder of the missing information, as shown below.
